Studio Kidwell is a graphic design practice working in printed, digital, and environmental spaces. We partner with a cast of collaborators from editors to architects to help shape the atmosphere of everyday objects.

The studio works with cultural, civic, and private groups on projects in scale from books to buildings. Our work uses graphic design to bridge two- and three-dimensions across signage & wayfinding, exhibition design, graphic identity systems, websites, and printed matter.

Jesse Kidwell was previously an associate partner at the New York office of design consultancy Pentagram where he developed projects for museums The Jewish Museum, Museum of the City of New York, AIGA; architects mOrphosis Architects and Krueck + Sexton Architects; and rock stars The Rolling Stones. His work has received recognition from distinguished professional organizations including the Art Directors Club of New York (ADC), the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), the Type Directors Club of New York (TDC), 50 Books (AIGA), and the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD). He received a BFA in Graphic Design from combined studies at the University of Michigan and the University of Reading, Department of Typography in Reading, UK.
